We write original text, link to primary sources where possible and distinguish documents, memories, current listings and interpretation. We do not invent schedules, attendance, quotes, biographies or private details.
Dance criticism should make the room more legible, not less welcoming. We can discuss safety, access, skill and history without mocking beginners or treating one tradition as the only valid one.
Sponsored work, if accepted, is labeled and must fit the site’s dance, music, venue, gear, culture or archive boundaries. Editorial control remains with the bulletin.
When a correction changes a current fact, the desk updates the sentence and keeps the check date visible. When a correction changes an interpretation, the desk records the disagreement and links the better evidence. Historical records are not silently rewritten to match a present preference.
